Jonathan F. Warren, Ph.D.
Research Advisor
Jonathan is responsible for competitive analysis and in-depth market research and analysis. Identifying demographic trends and under-served markets for independent and assisted living facilities for aging adults and adults suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments, his research enables LaSalle to select the best communities in which to develop new Autumn Leaves and Autumn Oaks residences. In addition, Jonathan oversees the development and analysis of a variety of surveys for the LaSalle Group and Constant Care Management Company, including annual feedback surveys sent to the families of Autumn Leaves and Autumn Oaks residents qne the new resident admission survey. Jonathan also represents The LaSalle Group at conferences and events within the senior housing industry, and those focused on Alzheimer’s disease, staying up-to-date on the latest developments on aging, Alzheimer’s, and more.
Jonathan is an accomplished university professor, sociologist, researcher, and published author. After earning a bachelor of arts in psychology and German from Michigan State University, he received an M.A. in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a Ph.D. in sociology in 1997. Since 1997, he has been associate professor of Latin American and International Studies at the University of Washington, where he serves as chair of Latin American Studies at the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies. Jonathan has also been an assistant professor at Duke University in the departments of African and African American Studies and Cultural Anthropology, and a visiting associate professor at the Institute of Sociology, Vietnam National Center for Social Sciences and Humanities.
