Teresa Rodriguez, IIDA, Assoc. AIA, LEED® AP

Director of Design

As the Director of Design, Teresa is responsible for the interior design of new construction projects and architectural plan changes to the Autumn Leaves prototype. She handles all aspects of the project from finish selection, purchasing, and construction administration to final installation. Teresa also manages the coordination between outside consultants including architects and engineers, and works closely with LaSalle’s development team.

Her career in interior design and architecture spans 10 years. She has experience in health care, facilities planning, corporate, hospitality and residential design. Before joining The LaSalle Group, Teresa was a project designer and associate project manager at Staffelbach, a design firm consistently named in the 100 Interior Design Giants by Interior Design magazine. She was responsible for the space plan development and interior design for such corporate clients as Bear Stearns and Marcus and Millichap. Prior to Staffelbach, Teresa was a facilities planner at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She oversaw projects for such departments as Pharmacy, Ambulatory Operations and the Children’s Art Project. Teresa also has experience as an intern architect at Texas-based architectural firms WHR Architects and 3D International.

Teresa earned a bachelor of science in interior design at the University of Texas at Austin, and is currently enrolled in the master of architecture program at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is registered by the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners in Interior Design and a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional, is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association, and an associate member of the American Institute of Architects.
